Inanda alarms: covering properties from golf course boundaries to complex walls
Inanda is right on Sandton's doorstep. Inanda contains a mix of large, freestanding properties and secure cluster complexes. The standalone homes often have long perimeters bordering the Wanderers Golf Course or busy roads like Katherine Street, creating extensive boundaries to watch. Within cluster developments, individual units still need their own layer of security, as a shared complex wall does not protect private gardens or ground-floor access points from inside.
For a freestanding Inanda home, our approach is to layer security from the boundary inwards. We install outdoor beams to cover long walls and garden spaces, positioning them carefully to work around the mature trees common to the area. Inside a complex, the focus shifts to the unit's immediate surroundings. Here, beams covering a patio or small garden provide a warning before anyone reaches the glass of a door or window.
Many homes in Inanda have staff quarters, a separate cottage, or a home office. We partition the alarm so these can be armed and disarmed independently of the main house. This allows staff or a tenant to use their own code for their area, without giving them access to the main home's security system. We use multiple, correctly aimed outdoor beams to create a detection layer along the wall. This alerts your armed response company to an intruder on the perimeter, long before anyone gets near the house.
Can our domestic worker arm their room without having a code for the whole house?
Yes. We configure the staff quarters as a separate area on your alarm. This gives them their own code that only works for that area, keeping the main house's alarm secure.
