Police Want To Identify The Bulgaria Bomber

No one suspected the long haired man wearing a cap and shorts of anything other than being a tourist hanging out at the airport waiting for his luggage to arrive.  The backpack he had hanging over his shoulder could just be hand-luggage.  No one knew that only a couple of minutes later, this very same man would get on a bus together with young Israeli’s and proceed to blow himself up.  This explosion cost the lives of six other people on the bus as well.

The victims on the bus include a pregnant girl and the driver of the bus.  The bus driver was a native Bulgarian and the rest were all from Israel. Police have started sifting through evidence to try and identify this man, starting with his fake driver’s license, apparently obtained in Michigan.  They are also checking his fingerprints and some DNA.

Iran and Hezbollah have been put in the spotlight and blamed for the attack by Israel.  A US official who wants to remain anonymous has stated that Hezbollah is almost certainly behind the incident.  The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ramin Mehmanparast has denied any involvement in the blast, saying that Israel is just wanting to move the world’s attention away from the assassination that takes place via Israeli hands and targets Iranian nuclear scientists.

The attack happened just outside of the airport where the bomber was first noted on the CCTV cameras systems. The CCTV camera footage clearly shows the suspect moving around at the airport terminal a few minutes before the fatal blast.  The backpack he was carrying most likely contained the bomb which was stored in the luggage compartment of the bus before exploding.  The bomber hadn’t been in the country longer than a week, according to reports, and he looked to be about 36 years of age.

It seems that the DNA is going to prove to be the only way to determine the identity of the bomber, as the Michigan driver’s license could not be picked up on any database.  There are a large amount of Arab natives living in the US and Michigan is one of the biggest homes for them.
