Care should be taken to install the tracks according to the instructions of the manufacturer, and in the correct positions and fastened with the recommended fixtures. Garage door tracks should be cleaned and dried first before the door is set to run on them.
In other case the problem is with the door opener and here there can be a whole myriad of problems. If the door is electronic, it could be an electrical fault, and if a remote control is used, there could be a problem with the code or the battery. In any case it is advised that a professional is called out to deal with this problem.
